I am Naiyana Johnson, owner of Luxe and Layered Bakery! We specialize in desserts that not only taste good but look great!
My journey in baking began at age 11, inspired by my mom’s friend whom introduced me to a “From Scratch” Red Velvet Cake and Blondie Recipe. This experience re-ignited my passion and transformed a simple act of baking for my family into a lifelong pursuit.
As I navigated my late teens and early twenties, I committed myself to perfecting my craft. Through countless trials and indulgent tastings, I honed my skills, ensuring that each recipe resonated with the masse that would soon enjoy my creations. My college years were filled with baking for friends, then as I transitioned into the work field I began baking for colleagues, co-workers and new friends. I always eagerly volunteered to be the dessert bearer—a role I embraced wholeheartedly.
At Luxe and Layered Bakery, I firmly believe that every dessert should tell a story through its flavors and presentation. I layer my flavors with intention, investing thought and expertise into every creation to achieve the finest outcomes. Committed to authenticity, I bake exclusively from scratch, selecting only the highest quality ingredients. To me, these elements are paramount, for they create not just desserts, but experiences worth savoring.
